ABOUT THE CONFERENCE
The Refugee Community Building Conference, Washington State’s premier conference focused on refugees, is focused on reducing the systemic barriers that hinder refugees’ economic success and access to opportunities. This conference is the only gathering that brings together refugees, philanthropists, government officials and staff, refugee organizations’ representatives, and members of the public to share ideas, build community capacity and learning connections, and promote effective policy and practice informed by refugees and responsive to their needs.
INSPIRING AND INFORMATIVE WORKSHOPS
Highlights of the Conference include morning and afternoon concurrent workshops focused on several pressing issues facing our refugee communities, best practices, and the power of advocacy in challenging and addressing inequities.
